In nine years in the art market in São Paulo (Brazil), Galeria Mezanino was an itinerant and innovative project, directed by journalist and curator Renato De Cara. Introducing thematic and individual exhibitions of established artists as well as early-stage, the project was consolidated and, from 2015, gains breath with the entry of two new partners in business management.

Two members/sponsors, businesswoman Flavia Abuhab and the art collector Francisco de Assis Esmeraldo, join Renato and inaugurated in march, its new headquarters in Pinheiros, on the street Cunha Gago 208 in São Paulo, Brazil. With approximately 300 meters paintings, the gallery will host the exhibition hall, available assets, specialized and unique printed editions, space for workshops and living together with artists.

Contemporary art, with their crosses and developments, will be the main focus of the business, with chapters that include painting, printmaking and drawing, performance, video and sound art, and sculpture, photography, illustration and graffiti.

The team of artists represented will be composed of: Claudio Mubarac, Danielle Noronha, Eduardo Ver, Emidio Contente, Ernesto Bonato, Francisco Maringelli, Jaime Prades, Leo Sombra, Luanna Jimenes, Manoel Veiga, Martin Brausewetter, Mauricio Parra, Sergio Lucena, Sergio Niculitcheff, Shima, Siri, Taro Kaneko, Thelma Vilas Boas e Ulysses Bôscolo.

Show - Under the title of 'Dreams Dealers' ('Merchants of Dreams', with free inspiration in the film of the surrealist Hans Richter work), the inaugural group exhibition of gallery space in the new sights its focus on production of artists and their aesthetic proposals bringing in some way, 'news of our time', in tune with the contemporary languages and poetic.

"For art, but to question and confront paradigms as arid everyday ?," asks Renato De Cara, gallery owner and curator of the show. All the artists of gallery were selected to this exhibition.

Parallel to the exhibition hall, will be displayed in the outdoor garden of the gallery a large-scale installation, the series 'Still Lifes', the artist Jaime Prades.
