Relive those treasured memories of a picnic on the beach or a walk on a cliff-top path, of dinghy sailing or sailing the high seas as you cruised to warmer climes.

Join us for our annual exhibition celebrating the sea and the marine environment in all its variety - from the deep sea to quiet harbours, from super-tankers to sailing dinghies, from all that is beside the sea to what lies under it. On show will be over 300 works by some of the most celebrated marine artists at work today.

But no matter what they paint, or in what style, no matter whether they paint en plein-air or in the studio, the sea is always their main source of inspiration.

Celebrating the Society's 70th exhibition, and 50 years of its royal status.

To mark the occasion, the Society is introducing a "small pictures" wall to their Annual Exhibition to allow for a range of very competitively priced smaller works alongside stunning larger works, and has doubled the value of The Charles Pears Award for the most promising work in the show by a non-member artist, now £500.
