The new year embarks on New Work, New York - a group exhibition of Artists from around the world who have never shown at Woodward Gallery before. Responding to thousands of Artist Submissions, Director John Woodward selected eighteen individuals originating from Japan, Spain, Canada as well as the USA who work in sculpture, paper, and painting.

This first exhibition of 2016, is a restoring view of what is becoming an all too generic culture. Original vision will awaken even the most apathetic art viewer complacent with more of the same in repetitive art fairs and auctions. This contemporary assortment of Fine Artists focus in refreshing Abstraction, Surrealism, and Figurative styles. Woodward is delighted to provide this platform further highlighting the tenets of the Gallery.

The invited Artists are: Mary Armstrong, Rine Boyer, Daniel Calder, Astrid Cravens, Osmeli Delgado, Kevin Frank, Danielle Hatherley, Jessica Hurley Scott, Javier Infantes Lopez, Howard Kalish, Daphnae Koop, Vedran Misic Pozas (René Monzón Relova), Juri Morioka, Nancy Newman Rice, Shaun O’Rourke, Steven Parton, Taka Sudo.
