London Transport Museum’s latest poster display features 21 stunning original prints from its collection and focuses on the ways that graphic designers and artists have been inspired by and engaged with past poster designs. Whether promoting travel etiquette or sightseeing in the capital, these posters show us how memorable designs and messages can be cleverly reinterpreted for contemporary audiences.

Two of the most popular posters from the collection will be on display. London Transport by Man Ray from 1938, regarded as one of the most iconic artworks designed for the Underground and Brightest London and Home by Underground, by Horace Taylor,1924.

London Transport Museum’s latest poster parade ‘Reimagining Historic Posters’ is open to all Museum ticket holders to see from 27 January 2017.
