Krystal Volney (Krystal Victoria Gabrielle or KVGV) is a West Indian award-winning poetess, playwright and journalist was born on the island of Trinidad.
She is Trinidadian-Dominican and is mixed with various ethnicities such as Yoruban, Portuguese, Amerindian (Carib people), French and Egyptian ancestry. Her family come from Dominica, Barbados, Trinidad, Dominican Republic, Cayman Islands, Scotland, Montserrat, Canada, Norway and USA. However, her ancestors are from Yoruba(West Africa), France, Portugal, Egypt and the Amerindians (Carib people) who were already settled in the Caribbean. She and her relatives/family are all descendants of French philosopher Count Volney.
The author is also a fellow of the Society for Mathematical Biology with interest in areas of: Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Molecular Biology, Developmental Biology, Morphology, Ecology, Neurobiology, Population Biology and Systems Biology.
She is the author of Cosmos and Spheres poetry book: (Best-selling Ebook and paperbacks 2011). Cosmos and Spheres was written to free the minds of readers from stressed situations and enable them to enjoy a family book of fashion, romance, children’s, nature & environment poetry. She started writing it (English version) in late 2010 and it was published in late 2011 by Trafford Publishing in the USA.
Her second poetry book was completed in late 2012 and it will be available online & in bookstores in 2013.
'The Krystal Volney Radio show' started in the U.S.A about technology and the exploration of new science. Some other information is that she is also a journalist and ghostwriter.
