The unique Trans-Siberian Orchestra will perform at the Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza, in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania; the show will be a succession of art, music, and entertainment.

When Paul O’Neill, his founder, first conceived the idea of this type of band, he wanted to create a rock band that would push boundaries, while following the steps of Emerson, Lake & Palmer, Pink Floyd, and the Who. He wanted to take the best of all the forms of music he knew and combine them into a new style; the Trans-Siberian Orchestra established its success in 1999, when it hit the road and began an annual November-December extravaganza.

With over 7 million albums sold, the band has inspired generations of fans to rediscover the charm of art and rock opera. O’Neill has always believed that music can transport and transform; his original idea was to make music with the most emotional impact. His objective has been achieved, as the band is one of the top touring artists of the past decade.
