The Art of Prigus Sport’s Mascots and Paddles
18 Oct — 16 Nov 2014 at As Issued, Costa Mesa
"The Art of Prigus Sport’s Mascots and Paddles" is the beginning of the journey of artist Jeff McMillan's historical recant of the 90-year-old sport Prigus, on its current resurgence into popularity. On Saturday, October 18, join As Issued Art + Design Bookstore as we celebrate this new found popularity and host the West Coast's first chance to interact with Prigus mascots and players in person. As Issued will be displaying the game paddles and mascot art of Prigus before the show travels to the Long Beach Museum of Art and RVCA/SF gallery in San Francisco.
Alongside RVCA, As Issued opens on October 18th with an event where fans can meet the mascot of the Rabun Gap Tigers, sign autographs with players, win mascot print cards, season tickets, and T-shirts designed by RVCA.
