Francis Zeischegg moves in the fields between installation, architecture and conceptual art. She practices basic research of the relationship between human and space.

First of all, it is difficult to imagine her constructs of temporary buildings and portable enclosures in a classical gallery space because they include a large portion of public space-thoughts. So her show targets at Vincenz Sala Berlin, explicitly displays the view in the distance.

The graphic and sculptural implementation of the cross hairs of a telescope is a substantial part of the exhibition, which is also reflected in the title.

However, the desire of a distant sight, which the target telescope is known for, will not be fulfilled. The view is reflected to the viewer, because a central theme of Zeischeggs art is the analysis of perceptual processes, essentially the study of the human view and their perspective.

It's about standard and custom made, camouflage and deception.
