Drawing Now Paris, le Salon du Dessin Contemporain will be held for its 6th edition at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris, from Thursday 29th March to Sunday 1st April 2012.

Drawing Now Paris is the first contemporary art fair exclusively dedicated to contemporary drawings.

In Spring, in Paris, the fair has become in less than 6 years, a reference for galleries that wish to present drawings of emerging or established artists to young and confirmed collectors, to European institutions and art lovers.

About 80 international galleries will be selected by an independant committee formed by Philippe Piguet, our artistic director, and made up with key figures from the art sector : Alexandra Fau, independant exhibition curator and art critic, Sandra Hegedus Mulliez, collector, Christian Bernard, director of the MAMCO, Marc Donnadieu, curator for contemporary art at the LaM of Villeneuve-d'Asq, Olivier Kaeppelin, director of the Maeght Foundation, and Bernard Point, former director of the Ecole municipale des Beaux-Arts (Fine Art School) in Gennevilliers and its Edouard Manet art gallery.

Drawing Now Paris, le Salon du Dessin Contemporain is organized by CPCT Arts&Events. The two managers are Christine Phal, founder of the show and Carine Tissot, former fair director at Reed Expositions. Phillippe Piguet, art critic and independant curator, joins the team for the third year as artistic director.

Following the last edition, some improvements and new features were introduced, and platforms have been renamed in a concern of unity .
