As the name / title suggests, the symbolism of the snake eating its own tail, this millennia in many cultures leads to rebirth, the new. From there, the magic act of eating up and spitting up, your job no longer disassociates the "art of life" and not the "music of the visual arts." His works gain structures and forms in videos, photographs, sculptures and especially in the materialization of his music, breaking a musical evolution from the abstract to the concrete, emerging into another level of existence represented by the 'OROBORO' circle.

Originally from music world, which began in 1996 - has played with big names in brazilian music as Sivuca, Hermeto Pascoal and Fernanda Abreu, among others, the artist came expanding in recent years to the visual career. Already held exhibitions and performances in Brazil and abroad, as the museum Victoria and Albert Museum in London; NBK Gallery in Berlin and Portikus in Frankfurt, both in Germany.

Ricardo Siri was born in 1971 in Rio de Janeiro (RJ), where he lives and works. Percussionist by training in 1999/2000 graduated as a drummer for the Los Angeles Music Academy in the United States, and deepened its Indian and African percussion studies at Sangeet World Music School (Pasadena / CA).

In solo career since 2004, he released 3 CDs copyright and won the Prize of Brazilian Music in 2010. Since 2007, entered the world of art without abandoning the components of your music experience.

The exhibition 'Distortions' (Casa França Brazil, RJ, 2011) for example, is a sound installation consisting of several sculptures that can be rearranged and replaced by other parts in a process analogous to dynamic switching members in an orchestra. Presented a Volkswagen Beetle car as instrument playing its bodywork and engine in other facilities / performances, Siri replaces the skin of drums and the sound of wind instruments as tubas and trumpets condemned by age, by speakers. Thereafter, in a process that proposes raising the instruments, the artist is unique compositions for each piece, thus creating a sound basis for their performances.

It was selected for the Itaú Cultural projects Petrobras Cultural Program 2005/2006 and 2007/2008. He participated in the International Festival of Electronic Language - FILE (Sao Paulo, SP / 2007), VERB - Galeria Vermelho (São Paulo, SP / 2007), XVII Biennial of Contemporary Music (RJ).
