Art at the Warehouse is the new arts festival of Rotterdam (The Netherlands). In the rough frame of the old hangar Fenixloods 1 Katendrecht, from 5 - 10 February 2013 Warehouse presents an art fair, exhibition and multidisciplinary music- performance- and arts festival. During the Art Rotterdam Week, Art at the Warehouse stands out with an innovative total experience of art for the visitor. Contemporary art is not only shown, but felt, tasted, heard and experienced.

An art fair, exposition and festival rolled in to one
Art at the Warehouse takes place in a rough and inspiring warehouse, which reflects the forcefulness of the event and is within walking distance of Art Rotterdam. On the ground floor the top of Contemporary Art is presented by (inter)national galleries. On the first floor large installations and projections take over next to a Urban Supermarket and the art of gaming in Playful Arts Festival. Hereby Art at the Warehouse doesn’t only display art, but also allows visitors to experience art in a unique environment. In the large entry, visitors can dine, drink and be entertained, shocked and moved by a diverse cultural program of music, dance, theatre and talk shows in Warehouse style. In the evening Art at the Warehouse goes live with artists like Jules Deelder (& De Deeldeliers) and Dave von Raven (& The Kik). This unique event offers art in all its forms and makes contemporary art accessible for a large audience.

Art Fair - Variety of contemporary art presented by (inter)national galleries
The art fair presents a wide range of contemporary art by notorious (inter-) national galleries such as; Galerie Majke Hüsstege, Livingstone Gallery and Galerie Ramakers; Three galleries from the top 10 of Best Dutch Galleries. Work is being displayed (and sold) of well-known artists and talents like photographer Marc Lagrange (CMPV) with his life-size analog pictures of women as pure yet seductive portraits. Also impressive paintings by Simon Schrikker (Livingstone Gallery) are shown. His animal images invoke strong reactions such as pain, fear and compassion, but especially the paint speaks for itself.

Exhibition – Large installations and wall paintings
On the First Floor large installations and wall paintings take over the building of artists like Kim De Ruysscher, Royalsteez, and Simon Schrikker. Hereby an Urban Supermarket sells street art with style and visitors can experience the art of gaming with the Playful Arts Festival.

Festival – Diverse cultural program
In the evening we present Live at the Warehouse; an artistic, musical and culinary experience.
