The following texts are excerpts of descriptions of the actual clock faces for sale. Poetically, it speaks to time, aging, and the aesthetics around those subjects, as well as the attempt at rest. There's a modern demand to perform and produce and always be at the ready, and this show hyperbolically represents the theatricality and aesthetics of those demands, within Amanda's studio practice.

"It is older and is wood with nice hand painted ornate details in the corners. It has the old paint that with paint loss, scratches, dirt and wear make for a great patina. There is a little chipped wood, as I show.

The feet are metal in the front and look really nice. The devil figures on the side are interesting.

Please let me tell you about the case... The case isn't terrible. It is worn yet not destroyed. I think the term is alligator because the finish is crackled and very rough.

The most important way to analyse what you will receive is to carefully look at all the pictures and read my description carefully. The pictures and my description are very accurate.
