Welcome to a new gallery show for Spring: ‘Smile and the world smiles with you’ a joyful array of artworks to make you smile and remind you not to take life too seriously. We are excited to have three brand new artists for this show along with some firm old favourites to create a unique show of playfulness.

Leslie Taylor a brand-new sculpture artist for the show stirs some drama in her perfected models out of resin, tulip wood, stainless steel and acrylic. The subject matter is fun and light hearted creating a short narrative for the viewer with the pose and title of the work. The all white finish gives a fresh approach with a pop of red colour for warmth and dimension to the model.

Jane Ormes is an old hand in the gallery with her lovely screen prints and has a firm following amongst our customers. Her bright patterned animals stand out in her unique designs. All her prints take the viewer on an exciting adventure perfect for your little one’s bedroom to help them dream about their next adventure. Adam Oliver produces beautiful mono print, breathing life and personality into his cheeky spirited animals that often have a pinch of human humility to them. Their comical stance make you laugh as you engage with them.
Lauren Baker the cool new kid in the show wows with her bright coloured neon messaged prints; packed with diamond dust her work sure does sparkle. These pieces are framed in a striking black deep side frame for maximum impact. Using neon light to express her positive message and life mantras. She aims to raise the vibration of love and connection in the world. These pieces would work well in any area of the house but we recommend the hallway or living room.

Adam Bridgeland our new screen print artist creates wonderful fun images normally a very simple subject captured in cheery primary colour. These every day, almost mundane subjects are treated with the importance and status of emblems; centered in each work and often encapsulated within related text or target-like circular borders that focus our gaze.

Charlotte Farmer another great screen print artist creates a montage of motion in her prints filled with lots of small characters building a giant scene. Charlotte uses lots of bold pops of colour with gold leaf and glitter to make her prints come to life. She has even started experimenting with glow in the dark substances to allow her print to glow in the dark at night for the kids.

Lucie Sheridan our Bristolian lass creates screen prints that are charming characters as well as more recently well-known places around London. Predominantly a print maker, her work combines an instinctive, lateral approach with a rare freshness of execution and wit. Lucie’s pieces work well on their own or you can build them up to create a wall of fun.
