Following an invitation by 68projects the young US curator Adrianne Rubenstein selected 10 ambigious artists for the art exhibition „We might not have a planet left soon” during Gallery Weekend.

Asked about her decision on the line up Rubenstein answered with the following: „I see art as a power that can change the world. The exhibition "We might not have a planet left soon" will bring together artists working in painting, sculpture and installation who have a hopeful vision for the future.

We acknowledge the problems with our planet and its people, the destruction of the environment and the natural world, which may eventually lead us to extinction. The show will be about the power of objects made by healers, seers and visionaries, it will underline the sacred and will serve as a gathering place to determine the way forward.

There will be a fair amount of outer space and night time references, along with abstraction that is colorful and otherworldly. There will be references to animals, nature and the spirit.“
