This Summer we have invited a group of collectors and specialists to choose a favourite photograph from the Print Sales Gallery and share their connection with it.

In a time when we are saturated by images, it feels both timely and important to explore what makes particular photographs resonate, challenge and inspire us. In My View presents a selection of photographs that encourage and deserve further inspection, and are accompanied by personal insights that offer new ways of looking and thinking about an image, whether for purchase or just for pleasure.

Spanning time, continents and practice from the last 100 years, the works on display encompass Jacques-Henri Lartigue’s portrait of his young cousin in France in 1904, Bert Hardy’s experiences of New York in the 1950s, to present day perspectives from emergent and established talent.
