It has come to that time of year again, when Thackeray Gallery opens its doors for the festive period with one of their gallery biennial group exhibitions – the ‘Christmas Show 2017’.

This year’s exhibition will consist of 19 gallery artists, exhibiting nearly 90 artworks over two floors. Exhibiting artists will include many well known names such as; Gordon Bryce RSW RSA, Judith Cain and Eleri Mills RCA, rising stars such as Vivienne Williams, Vanessa Gardiner and Iwan Gwyn Parry RCA, as well as introducing new faces to the gallery with Derbyshire local Lewis Noble, and Artist & Illustrators’ Artist of the Year 2017 winner Anna Perlin.

With this array of talent being showcased this December, there will surely be something for everyone, from Vanessa Gardiner’s reductive landscapes, Judy Buxton’s intense still-lifes to Gordon Bryce’s glorious seasonal Scottish scenes.
