Coinciding with the retrospective organised by Jean-Louis Prat at the Grand Palais in Paris, Galerie Lelong & Co is presenting a selection of works on paper from two decades (1930-1950), a period where the artist’s work reached its full expression.

The bilingual exhibition catalogue (French and English) contains a preface by Rémi Labrusse, author of Miró, un feu dans les ruines (Hazan). In parallel with the exhibition in rue de Téhéran, the gallery is also showing in its new premises on 38 Avenue Matignon a selection of paintings, drawings and sculptures from 1910 to 1980 (until November 17th).

For this occasion, the latest edition of the Catalogue Raisonné of Miró’s drawings will be published, including the addenda to previous volumes. After six volumes on paintings, one on sculptures, one on ceramics, the six volumes on drawings complete and conclude this lengthy exercise initiated by Jacques Dupin.
