Luiz Zerbini is one of Brazil’s most established contemporary artists, known for his vivid works on canvas which range from abstract paintings through to landscapes, cityscapes, and domestic scenes.

For his first solo show in a UK public institution, Zerbini’s large-scale paintings which reference modernist architecture, contemporary culture and elements from the natural environment are presented with a series of abstract works on canvas, positioned around a sculptural centre-piece.

The exhibition also includes Zerbini’s 35mm film and slide works.
