The work of Carolina Sardi (Rosario, Argentina) is based on the influence of the movements of Concrete Art-Invention, Madi and Perceptivism which form an indissoluble part of the aesthetic and conceptual body that shapes the work of this artist.

Sardi takes from them, among other technical aspects; the infinite combination of forms and their autonomy, the logic, the suppression of the "frame", the mental preconception of the work, the dialectical thought, and the visual objectivity. These are all formal elements that place her work, logically, within the spheres of design and architecture. For this reason alone, her work is so related with these other currents of art, which were dependent on the relationship between form and space.

This exhibition brings together a group of works developed over more than 20 years, giving us the opportunity to experience the technical elements, and the use of materials, which unites Carolina Sardi's work with that of her teachers, the processes of formation and consolidation of geometric art , and that intrinsic attitude of the founders of constant renovation of the aesthetic, social and philosophical discourses, attitude that from our contemporary perspective could mean looking to past for as a means to understand the present and the future.
