David Douard was born in 1983 in Perpignan, France. He lives and works in Paris, France.

His work has been subject of solo exhibition at Kunstverein Braunschweig, Germany (2016), Palais de Tokyo, Paris (2014) and Sculpture Center, New York, (2014).

Recent exhibitions including David Douard’s work have been held at Villa Medici, Rome, Italy (2018), Palais de Tokyo, Paris (2018), La Panacée|MoCo, Montpellier, France (2018), Musée d’Art moderne de la Ville de Paris, Paris (2017/2015), Institute of Contemporary Arts, London, United Kingdom (2015), Fridericianum, Kassel, Germany (2015), Astrup Fearnley Museet, Oslo, Norway (2014).
