Art Attack SF is proud to present San Francsico-based abstract artist Ariel Gold for a spotlight showcase. Join us Thursday August 1st from 6-9pm for the Opening Reception during the Castro Art Walk. The event is free and open to the public. The exhibition is on view August 1st- September 1st. Gallery hours: Thurs-Sun 1-6pm

Working primarily in acrylics, Gold’s work revolves around color and how we associate, interact and interpret it. Her art is about relationships between people and their environment, whether it is a physical place or a feeling created by an experience in that space. Gold’s abstract peices are visually stunning; her bold use of color and simple brushstrokes reveal a techincal mastery of painting with an air of playfulness and whimsy. You can’t help being absorbed in the sumptious, tactile canvases.

Her most recent series Brushstrokes will be exhibited at the gallery, as well as select pieces of her series Pixilated Journey in which the digital and material collide into vivid, energetic works of abstraction.
