The exhibition is named after a major work by Jean McEwen, whose experience offers a powerful inspiration that expresses timeless questioning on identity, which invites us to examine our collective history differently. The exhibition assembles more than 40 works, including drawings, prints, graphic design, installations, paintings, photographs and sculptures from different periods.

In addition to McEwen’s work the exhibition features works by Nicolas Baier, Dominique Blain, Anthony Burnham, Cooke-Sasseville, Jean Dallaire, Betty Goodwin, Nicolas Grenier, Milutin Gubash, Massimo Guerrera, Alexander Henderson, Jacques Hurtubise, Denis Juneau, Jean-Paul Lemieux, Richard Max-Tremblay, P. h. McKermon, Caroline Monnet, Nadia Myre, James Georges Parks, Michael Patten, Michael A. Robinson, Joseph-J.-É. Sauvageau and Marc Séguin.
