William Peers is having a one-man show at the John Martin Gallery, London this spring. He has been working exclusively towards this exhibition for the past nine months, and has produced 18 new works in marble. Most of the work is shown in development on his blog and final images can be found on the freestanding sculptures page of this website.

William Peers is a stone sculptor based in Cornwall. He has carved stone for the past twenty years, exploring both figuration and abstraction. He exhibits regularly with the John Martin Gallery, London, as well as in group exhibitions across the UK. William has mainly worked with Hornton stone, Carrara marble and Portugese marble. His work falls into three categories: wall hung sculpture, free-standing sculpture and landscape and garden sculpture.

John Martin gallery have produced a five minute film about William and his approach to making sculpture. William has also written about the inspiration behind this body of work.
