Marcella Martinelli is originally from Milan but was born and raised in Geneva, Switzerland, arriving in London in the 80s towards the end of the New Romantic era, she studied art and fashion at the London College of Fashion and St Martin's School of Art.

Her journey into the world of Theatre and Fashion began when working behind the scenes in the wardrobe department of the Royal Court Theatre surrounded by costumes and artistry. Through a chance meeting, she joined the design and production team at Vivienne Westwood which was then based in Camden in North London. This experience fuelled her innate sense of creativity and an insatiable curiosity for the ever-evolving world of style and it is where she honed her skills in design, fashion and production.

Armed with an understanding of the industry, she embarked on a career that would see her rise through the ranks to become a sought-after Fashion stylist.

Formerly Fashion Editor at the Financial Times, 'How to Spend it’ magazine, JFW and MilliOnair magazine, Marcella offers a full content creation specialising in art direction, editorial, advertising and brand direction.

With a career spanning over two decades, she has lent her expertise to renowned fashion publications with her distinctive editorial vision. Styling various celebrities for the red carpet with clients including Julia Roberts, Damian Lewis, Russell Crowe, Dame Harriet Walter, and Jeremy Irons amongst many others. Her editorial choices are a seamless blend of sophistication, innovation, and a keen understanding of cultural influences, making her a respected authority in the fashion world this led her into the world of Luxury brands covering fashion and travel.

Meet Trausti Thor Sverrisson who has worked in education and media, completing his master's degree in Mathematics Education with distinction from Reykjavik University before taking up teaching Mathematics in London. He left his native Iceland to find new inspirational paths after a lustrous career in radio where he has done editorial, programme and managerial work and presented live radio and television broadcasts, mainly relating to current affairs and classical music.

In the ever-evolving landscape of travel journalism, Trausti Thor stands out as a storyteller who goes beyond the surface, creating narratives that inspire, inform, and ignite the wanderlust in us all. His articles are a blend of vivid descriptions, practical travel tips, and insightful observations that go beyond the surface. He has found a new passion in writing about hospitality, food and music, home and abroad and sings baritone with The West London Chamber Choir.
