Alice Bauer is an American based in Berlin, Germany. She earned her BA from Occidental College in 2011 in German and Spanish studies focusing on literature and culture. In 2018 she earned her MA in National and Transnational Studies: Language, Literature and Culture at Münster University in Germany with a focus on the connection between social production and contemporary art and the urban environment in the globalized world. Alice has worked in publishing in New York and as a cultural journalist for publications in Germany, Canada and the US and currently contributes to multiple art publications. She focuses on the offbeat and uncouth and is interested in the points of familiarity between seemingly disparate entities and how to use the arts to foster positive and sustainable relationships in a rapidly changing transnational world.
