Male kimono. Cotton with a thin line pattern. Lined with silk. It is made from contemporary materials but keeping in mind later 18th century styles. The colour is known as 'Kichisaburo' after Arashi Kichisaburo II (1769-1821), a kabuki actor, who favoured the colour in his clothing. Made in: Japan, 2014. © Given by Isetan Mitsukoshi Holdings Ltd
