Khushi Ko

Born in the incredibly diverse subcontinent of India, Khushi Ko has been writing for most of her life. Her first-ever story, confined to the pink pages of a princess-themed diary, was about a friendly dragon named Chip. Throughout her life, Khushi has continued to write- poetry, prose, articles, blogs, scripts, Instagram captions, and weepy Tumblr posts, among other things. She possesses a deep curiosity about the world, and her areas of interest range from the human psyche to the occult, from literature to economics.

Having grown up in the hustle-bustle of the nation's capital, Khushi thrives in the chaos of a densely populated space. She loves being indoors and outdoors. However, her biggest motivation to greet the great outdoors is her love for the moon and everything that has to do with it.

You can find her work in literary journals like Sublunary Review, student newspapers, news sites, and scribbled notes. She often writes about her experience of selfhood, social & cultural phenomena, and mental health & illness. An avid reader, she enjoys all things gothic, thrilling, and unpredictable enough to leave her surprised by a plot twist. Her favourite book and film are both Coraline, which she believes to be Neil Gaiman's magnum opus (though Sandman is a close second).

Khushi recently graduated with a B.A. (Honours) in Psychology from the University of Delhi. She has experience working in sales, business development, event curation, finance, writing, proofreading & editing, and research. She currently resides in India—writing, learning, and working.
