Conan O’Brien Needs A Friend

This is a non-scripted chat show where the talk show host Conan O’Brien discuss random subjects with very famous guests.

I adore Conan. He is so smart, funny, and asks his guests really interesting questions. And this show has quickly become one of my favorite podcasts! I really like the self-deprecating humor and the conversations between Conan and his assistant Sona.

Conan is so funny that he even makes the ads entertaining. And whoever had the idea that he is reading the Ads copy because he has to pay off the mortgage for his beach house, is a genius!

I highly encourage others to check it out!

Yo, Is This Racist?

Yo, Is This Racist? Is hosted by Andrew Ti, the creator of the popular blog of the same name. Ti and his co-host Tawny Newsome answer questions from fan-submitted voicemails.

This podcast vastly exceeded my expectations. It is super informative and eye-opening, which makes it great to listen to. Race can be a very touchy subject but I love how Andrew and Tawny bring irreverence to such serious issues.

Also, the chemistry between the two hosts is A+

Today explained

Today explained is a daily podcast hosted by Sean Rameswaram that breaks down the top stories of the day.

I’ve been listening to this podcast for about 3 months or so and I really enjoy it. Sean is a very engaging host and asks really good questions.

I really like how he guides us through different topics relevant to the day’s news in really thoughtful ways. Rameswaram insights totally help me make sense of the broader world while remaining engaging and entertaining.

The podcast has a solid quality of reporting and usually interesting topics. It keeps me up to date and I always learn a lot of facts from the subject matter.

Pivot

Kara Swisher and NYU Professor Scott Galloway offer sharp, unfiltered insights about technology, media, advertising, politics, and more.

Both Kara and Scott are awesome together and their conversations are so informative. With some excellent back and forth! They are also very very funny.

Scott’s predictions and insights are always interesting, and I love his unapologetic views. I could listen to him all day.

Kara knows a lot about tech companies and is always challenging Facebook, Google’s and Amazon’s user privacy issues.

I totally recommend this Pod.

Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard

I’m so happy I discovered this Podcast. Armchair Expert Is hosted by actor Dax Shepard and his co-host Monica Padman. And according to Dax, the podcast is a celebration of the messiness of being human.

The interviews are so interesting and I love the variety of guests. And I enjoy listening to it even when the guest is someone I don’t know a lot about.

Shepherd is great at letting the conversation flow naturally while also getting to the core of who his guests are. I also enjoy his honest take on his life. It is so refreshing to hear celebrities really be honest and raw about their feelings.

The only thing about this show that I’m not a fan is the fact-checking bit in the end. I just think is totally unnecessary and honestly, a waste of time. But besides that, this is great to listen to.
