The building, inspired by the Crystal Palace in London, is built with two-tone bricks and has a covering composed of iron arches and windows that allow natural lighting. Currently the building belongs to the Ministry of Culture and hosts temporary exhibitions of the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía.
