Most of my flower photographs are created outdoors in public gardens where there are untold variables.

It’s a challenge to share the very essence of the flower I’m viewing — to reveal it’s inner core as well as it’s surfaces, textures, shapes and patterns.

Digital sepia toning adds another layer of depth and mood while giving me the ability to better communicate the feelings that moved me when I clicked the shutter.
