The age of Adaline is a romantic 2015 American movie representing a woman called Adaline that stopped physically aging after the age of 29 after an accident. Although she suffered in her life because of this incident, too many people watching the movie, it was a dream to be rendered ageless like her.

A lot of studies were done regarding the aging process and how it can be stopped or rather slowed or modified. Aging is an inevitable process associated with dynamic, biological, physiological, environmental, mental, psychological, and behavioral changes that all human beings will have to undergo. It’s the currency of being a living organism. A cell born from another cell multiplying, 2 cells become 4, then 8, 16, 32. The rhythm of this dividing pair, which becomes the structure of every microbe, grass, sea creature, land creature, and human. This is the structure of everything that lives and dies.

The issue is not cells dividing, the issue is with every division, every generation of new cells formed comes with a telomere shortening. Every time a cell divides in your body, the telomeres shorten.

Now, what are telomeres? In simple words, they are the caps or the ends of chromosomes. They can be represented metaphorically as erasers, the more it is used to erase, the more it shortens (as your cells divide for growth, reproduction, and tissue repair, the more the telomeres shorten in length).

Telomeres maintain their length by an enzyme called telomerase that adds sequences to the end of the chromosomes. But its activity decreases physiologically with age as a result of constant cell division, not only physiologically but it was shown that certain lifestyle factors such as smoking, obesity, lack of exercise, and consumption of unhealthy diet can increase the pace of telomere shortening.

So how can you impede telomere shortening?

One of the most effective drugs to enhance your telomerase enzyme is TA-65 which is a telomerase activator that is a plant-based compound extracted from a herb called Astragalus that was used in traditional Chinese medicine for ages for various disorders. TA-65 can really cause your biological age to be less than your chronological age. TA 65 will activate the gene needed for coding to produce the telomerase enzyme.

Benefits and uses of TA 65

Fighting cold infections is possible with TA 65 as it boosts your immunity. Osteoporosis and fractures are less with TA 65 since it helps in increasing the bone density. Your skin will look brighter, and with few to no wrinkles at all compared to what you would have without TA 65. It also increases your libido and definitely improves your sexual performance. Protects against dementia by improving your memory and your cognitive function. It also protects against all age-related diseases, like age-related macular degeneration which is a common condition that affects the middle part of your vision which is the leading cause of vision loss in the states for ages 50 and above.

The theory of aging is not only supported by the shortening of the telomeres but also by oxidative stress. Oxidative stress is simply the imbalance between the reactive oxygen produced in the body as a result of metabolism and the antioxidant defenses. Oxidative stress is involved in several age-related conditions. One of these antioxidant defenses includes the coenzyme Q10 which your body makes. But as we age and under the influence of some factors, the production of this coenzyme ceases.

Although coenzyme Q10 is produced in the body, you can still take it as a supplement since it can be not sufficient as mentioned above. Apart from its antioxidative function, it also enhances cognitive function, relieves headaches, balances your mood, improves your cardiovascular function, promotes healthy and radiant skin, and most importantly boosts your energy levels since it’s a critical component in a structure in your cells called mitochondria which are considered as a fuel for energy for your body.

Summary

Getting enough doses of TA-65 and coenzyme Q10 are enough to be the elixir of life for human cells. To sum up, all that’s been said so far, it’s impossible to live forever, but you always have the option to age well and gracefully having a far less biological age compared to your chronological age with the help of all these modern techniques available in our time coupled with the promising future techniques in cosmetology. We owe it to ourselves to live a healthy lifestyle and to make the best out of our lives by eating a balanced diet and exercising. After all, we should be here for a good time, not a long one.
